How Much Can the iPhone Actually Do? See Why to Jailbreak and Find Out!

When you bought your iPhone you expected it to be able to do anything and everything, the term "There's an App for that" is commonly known through out the different communities as Apple's proof that the iPhone can do anything. Yet up until recently the iPhones background for example, was what Steve Jobs said, "Any color you want as long as it's Black." As you look deeper into the device you realize that you cannot do what you want with it, you can only add-on things that fit Apple's rule set. These rules leave you hoping that your App can make it through the App Store. It wasn't until recently these rules where even published, and this made it
easier for the 85,000 apps in the App Store (Oct 2009) to expand to the over 300,000 applications, currently.
With so many applications what more could you possibly wish for? The term 'Jailbreak' by definition with in the electronics community is to "Freeing your device from any software lock to gain root access, being able to freely read and write to the device". The ability to do what ever you would like with the device is a new concept to some iPhone users, so used to Apples rules that they never seen the light. With the ability to jailbreak your iPhone and really any iOS device (a device running iPhone software, like iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV), we can finally be free.
What does Freedom even taste like, have you forgotten the state of Freedom? A jailbroken iPhone is capable of doing some amazing things while jailbroken. My personal favorite is an add-on entitled, "Quick Reply". Have you ever been in an application and you wanted to answer a quick text, it pops up and then you need to switch to the SMS app, send the text, then switch back. I would agree it's a lot faster with the 4.0+ multitasking but what if you had a 3rd button on the popup window, one that say 'Reply' and when you click it an over lay of the text window pops up. Wouldn't that be awesome? How much would you love that? Well my iPhone can do that. There are hundreds and hundreds of themes in the jailbroken world, all of which can be accessed through Cydia, the "Jailbroken App Store". These repositories of thousands off applications allow yours to change themes and text tones but also expand to making Apple's "forgetful" creations come to life. The iPhone 4 has a front facing camera but you can only Face Time on Wi-Fi, not if its jailbroken. You have your laptop with you but there's no Wi-Fi, if your iPhone is jailbroken you can create a hotspot for free! With applications that can change your icon layout from more rows to a folder wheel anything is possible with a jailbroken phone.
Know what the best part is, it 100% pure and legal. The only thing Apple can do currently is void your warranty, but since the worse case scenario is needing to restore your iPhone through iTunes if something goes wrong or you need to bring it to the store. Leaving no trace of the jailbreak, there is nothing to worry about. So please tell me, Why haven't you jailbroken your device yet?
